The Industry Hills Women's Golf Association (IHWGA) welcomes you to the new tournament season at the Hill. Tournament participation is one of the key benefits to membership. But privileges do not stop there: friends, family and colleagues have the opportunity to share your club benefits throughout the year.
All members of the IHWGA are automatically enrolled as a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association (WSCGA). Please visit the WSCGA web site at www.womensgolf.org to view the organization news and schedule of events available to all members.
The IHWGA offers regular club play to members every Saturday (and occasionally Sunday) mornings on one of its two championship courses, the Eisenhower or Zaharias. Members may sign up for weekly tournament play through the Golf Reservations Office or through the Women’s Club Weekly Tournament Coordinator. In addition, members may reserve tee times nine days in advance through the Golf Reservations Office.
Club events include guest days, mixed member events (with men’s club), the Club Championship, the President’s Cup, the Partner’s Championship, the Pro-Member Scramble and Beat the Brass event. The club is also actively involved in WSCGA Team play and fields a Division I Team. Since achieving Division I status in 2010, the IH Women’s Team has had successful seasons, finishing first in its primary Team match play. Each December the club hosts its annual Holiday on the Hill Invitational. This is a very popular event and sells out a full shotgun field of 144 women each year. Along with the men’s club, the women’s club also supports the Jan Nolan Memorial (mixed couples) tournament each year.
Guest Days are less formal than tournaments or other special events and are held on weekdays, as well as on Saturdays. Guest days are open to IHWGA members, women friends, and other women’s club members. Entry fees for these shotgun events include cart fees, range balls, prizes and a lunch following play.
Board of Directors
Elections are held each November for Board officers, Board members and Committee members. Any female premium golf member in good standing may apply to serve on the Board. The Association is governed through by-laws, rules and regulations and relies on member volunteers. Please feel free to contact any member of the current Board of Directors with questions or to volunteer for a Club Committee.
Tournament calendars and entry forms for each event are available in the Reservations Office and on this web site.
